Robert Fleishel
PhD Student: 2nd year Mechanical Engineering Robert attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before starting graduate school, he worked in industry as a fatigue and fracture testing engineer. Robert’s interests include fracture mechanics, fatigue crack modeling in metals, and materials testing. He is currently researching micromechanical damage modeling in metals to support hypersonic vehicle design. |
Cody R. Crusenberry
PhD Student: 2nd year Mechanical Engineering
Cody R. Crusenberry is a second year student in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering. Cody is from Southwest Virginia and obtained his Bachelor's of science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He specializes in computational mechanics using varied numerical methods, and applies these methods to multiple projects including low-velocity impact, quasi-static testing, and theoretical material quantification.
